Birthdays, anniversaries, Valentine's Day, Christmas, and almost any other "special occasions" always lead to a gift of some time board game at my house. I recently had a birthday and my wife spoiled me with two games and two sets of letters which are all very entertaining and fun to play. The night of my birthday that broke the Lost Cities board game that was a welcome addition to our collection as we own and enjoy the card game Lost Cities. My wife and I have had this in our list of top board games of the families for some time, so I was very excited to get and he wanted to play the first night.

Lost Cities Board Game: Game Play

Set in the board game version of Lost Cities feels more interactive. You get to move your little explorers along the way to earn points. You can choose different paths to try to win different prizes before your opponents can. Playing these two players may not be as fun as three or four, because basically all I do not understand, your opponent will receive. Although it be mitigated by removing some of the cards available in two-player version. This is a nice quick game, provided you do not think too in their turn. There is also a short version, which can be a really nice option in one night.

Lost Cities Board Game: Factor Fun

At first glance, this game feels like a nice play of light, pleasant to play with your spouse. There are some strategic interest movements he can do, but a large part of the game is dictated by the luck of the cards you draw. For some people this can make it fun, because it has the stress of losing due to receive a bad hand. But personally I hate games where you lose and have little or no control over the fact that I am lost.

So far I've played this twice, once with the group of three players and only once with my wife. On delivery of the three player my wife started the decision of the Board, but are abused to the last two rounds and ended up losing. She is frustrated because he complained of cards bad and the other two players I felt sorry for him because he was winning by far in another aspect of the game. So when eventually lost completely only irritated her that all the world had Ganged up on it and has been a bit rude in the first round. The time I played with my wife, so was I irritated the whole game. I could not get no letter that I needed and I was listed in the game to the point that I want to finish a round. I hate the "luck" factor of the game. So while a game does not look very aggressive, offensive, bad feelings tend to get excited. It seems that it is mostly because we are so geared to the strategy in our game, so the frustration comes to the issues of bad luck.

Although I would not consider Lost Cities one of the very best board games for families, this is definitely a fun one to draw from time to time.
